Are you bogged down with business cards? Do you have mounds and mounds of business cards on your desk, in your desk drawers, and just about anywhere? Are you searching for that card that you got from that important guy you met last night at the networking event, but you lost his card in the big pile you already have? Take heart my friend. There is an app for that!

The other day I was chatting with an associate, Scott Kean from LSeven Solutions, and we exchanged business cards. He said he is going to use CardMunch to store my card. I asked him what is CardMunch. He told me it is an App for Apple iPhone and iPad. You take a picture of the card and it stores it on the device. Imagine my excitement; something to rescue me from hundreds of business cards that I’m struggling to keep track of.

As soon as I got home, I pulled out my iPad and downloaded CardMunch. Talk about being amazed. When I opened the app and took a picture of the first business card, it was so easy. The app stored the card and then asked me if the quality was good enough. If I said no, it allowed me to retake the picture. If I said yes, it stored the picture. Then, it asked if I wanted to connect with the person via LinkedIn. Connect with them on LinkedIn? Are you kidding me? How does this thing know that I’m a LinkedIn junkie???

Since then, I have been taking lots of pictures of my business cards and not worry about losing them.  CardMunch has simplified my business card management system, or lack thereof. Most importantly, the app is FREE! Yes my friend, that what I typed: F-R-E-E!!! If you are like me and need a simple way to store your cards, check out CardMunch. Now if only it could clean my desk! Bet there is an app for that!

Until next time, keep living that Diamond Life, A Life of Purpose!

I usually do not promote things I buy or use. I don’t want people to feel like I am pushing something on them. I am making an exception, because I have benefited from this particular product. Last year I happened upon a webinar given by Lewis Howes about using LinkedIn to get a job, make better professional contacts and grow my business. I was skeptical, but I gave his suggestions a try and they worked for me. My LinkedIn contact list has grown and so has my business. I have also used LinkedIn to help connect folks and recommend others for jobs, which led to companies hiring them.

I can keep this information to myself and not share it or I can let others know about it. I decided to share it with you. There are two webinars that you can attend and listen for yourself.

Here’s what you will learn:
1.  How to generate a BIG email list (your business depends on this)

2. How to get more contacts
3.  How to increase your search ranking (basically get lots of leads for free)
4.  How to drive more traffic to your site
5.  And how to dominate your niche using LinkedIn

Did you know that LinkedIn is a professional site? Did you know the average income for people on LinkedIn is over $100K? If you want to fly with the eagles, you have to hang with the eagles.

Here is the link to register for the webinar:

Thursday, June 7 @ 9:00pm and Friday, June 8 @ 3:00pm EST

Hope you find it useful.

As a woman, if I were living in another country…I would not be allowed to drive, get an education. I would not be allowed to vote or choose whomever I wanted to marry. As I Christian, if I professed my faith in another country, I may be hanged. Jesus said: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13…To say I am grateful for living in this country and for those who sacrificed their lives and those who continue to sacrifice for us to have these freedoms seems so small. My heartfelt gratitude and love goes out to each and everyone of them and their family! Thank you.

I had the distinct honor of speaking to four hundred high school seniors at the Coral Gables High School. I had no idea a news reporter would be attending the event. She briefly interviewed me. I just got a phone call from a guy who is trying to get me to one of those speaker’s seminar…he told me that he saw an article about me in the Miami Herald. I didn’t know what he was talking about. I googled it and here is the article…by the way, it is not me in the picture. I find the more I give of myself, the more happier I am. Give it a try; if you haven’t yet. Live a Diamond LIfe…A Life of Purpose.
